Application areas Advantages

  • Used on heated lines, vessels and equipment in intermittent or dual temperature service to prevent dampness in the insulation.

  • Used as a protective mastic for protecting outdoor thermal insulation from extremes of weather conditions.

  • Exceptional outdoor durability in extreme weather conditions, good resistance to chemicals like acids and alkalis and exceptional fire resistive property and flexibility at high or low temperatures. Contains no hazardous compounds of lead, and mercury.

  • The mastic (6065) dries to aluminium-bronze color which on exposure to sunshine generates metallic aluminium finish reflecting heat and protecting outdoor thermal insulation from thermal degradation.
