Application areas Advantages

  • Used as a vapor barrier sealant for sealing insulation joints and as a bedding compound for protecting cellular glass and urethane foam board stock insulations from abrasion.

  • Primarily used with low temperature insulation to prevent migration of water and water vapor into the insulation system via butt joints.

  • Remains soft, flexible and in-tact in joints without cracking or shrinking under repeated thermal cycles preventing damage to the insulation.

  • Performs well under condensing and humid conditions to protect equipment from corrosion breakdown and reduces outrageous upkeep costs. Does not contain hazardous compounds of lead and mercury.

  • Can be used over wide operating temperature range. Its trowel consistency facilitates application to insulation surfaces without stringing or excessive drag.
